Welcome to my ginger lemon apples recipe!

I’ve been eating this every morning for weeks while I work on weight management and overall health. This is simple, quick, and can last for a few days.

First off is ingredients:

  • Apples
  • Powdered ginger
  • Lemon Juice
  • Honey

Next, tools:

  • Apple peeler
  • Apple cutter

I start by washing and peeling the apples, dividing them up with the cutter, and then dropping the slices into a plastic container. Next, I pour in enough lemon juice to make sure that every slice is coated when the container is shaken. No need for exact measurements here, each the juice will naturally coat each piece evenly.

Adding the ginger comes down to personal taste. I’ve developed a tolerance for it so I spread an even coat over the top about three times, mixing in between. I judge when I am finished based on smell. I go for a strong ginger smell with a hint of lemon.

Honey is optional, but will give it a hint of a sweet taste.

Done! You can also drink the leftover juice once the apples are gone. I mix it with water, add a bit of extra honey, and it tastes great.
